Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr. SAP Business Analyst (FICO/COPA)
Location: Exton, PA 18040 On-site, 3 days per week (not a remote role)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst - FICO/COPA to support and enhance SAP ECC functionality across Finance and Controlling. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, production support, and ongoing system improvements. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP FICO with strong working knowledge of COPA, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide production support and implement enhancements within SAP FICO/COPA modules.
  • Develop functional design specifications and collaborate with technical developers to deliver solutions.
  • Deliver end-user training and documentation.
  • Support finance functions including AR, AP, P&L, GL, Balance Sheet, Dispute Management, and Credit Management.
  • Perform configuration, testing, integrations, upgrades, and go-live support in ECC.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for security, change management, incident management, vulnerability management, and business continuity.
  • Support and configure financial master data (vendor, customer, bank, cost center, GL).
  • Work across cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, and COPA reporting.
  • Collaborate in integration areas with SD, MM, and PP.
  • Work with EDI/ALE/IDOCs as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP ECC FICO and COPA functional areas.
    • A mix such as 7 years FICO + 3 years COPA is acceptable.
    • Strong FICO experience is essential; COPA is important but secondary.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance-related degree preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of finance processes.
  • Experience leading SAP projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and taxation is a plus.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily seated work involving extensive communication (talking, hearing).
  • Occasional walking, handling objects, or reaching.
  • May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

    Candidate Preferences (Ideal Fit)
  • Local or within a commutable distance, or able to relocate within a commutable distance.
  • Open to relocation if company relocation assistance is available.
  • Comfortable working on-site at least 3 days per week.
  • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across functions.
