The Role ...

Are you looking to apply your engineering skills in a dynamic environment that tackles complex challenges? Join our team as an Engineering Co-op and gain hands-on experience working on nuclear and military HVAC systems.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, engineering, manufacturing, and testing of custom HVAC equipment, including chillers, air conditioners, high-efficiency filtration systems, absorption units, coolers, fans, dampers, and related components.

This is a first-shift position based at our manufacturing facility in Batavia, OH.

What You'll Do ...
  • Apply engineering principles, organizational skills, and teamwork in a real-world setting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and customers
  • Support the development of equipment that is safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective
  • Select and specify materials, components, and purchased parts; assist with writing specifications for custom components
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve manufacturing, testing, and service issues
  • Perform additional duties as needed

What We're Looking For ...
  • Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
  • 1-4 years away from graduation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Preferred experience with CAD or drafting
  • Strong motivation, communication, and teamwork skills

So that you know ...
  • This is an entry-level co-op position.
  • You will work closely with and be mentored by senior engineers.
  • Assignments typically last 10-12 weeks, depending on your school's co-op program.
  • Candidates must be in good academic standing.
  • This position may require access to information subject to U.S. government contractual restrictions, including Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI) or other controlled information. Eligibility to access such information is limited to individuals who meet applicable U.S. requirements, which may include U.S. citizenship.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
