Job Title: Storage Engineer

Location: Clifton, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days/week from office)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Storage Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise storage systems. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of storage infrastructure while supporting backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise storage systems, including SAN, NAS, and hybrid storage solutions.

• Configure and maintain storage arrays, storage controllers, and host connections to ensure seamless operation.

• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and health; troubleshoot and resolve issues to optimize system efficiency.

• Plan and execute storage provisioning, expansion, migration, and upgrades with minimal disruption.

• Implement and maintain backup, replication, snapshot, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and application teams for storage integration.

• Ensure storage infrastructure follows security, compliance, and best practice guidelines.

• Maintain accurate documentation, operational procedures, and storage policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience managing enterprise storage environments.

• Hands-on experience with SAN, NAS, and storage array technologies.

• Knowledge of storage protocols, LUN management, multipathing, and data replication.

• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery tools and strategies.

• Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud storage integration.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as EMC Proven Professional, NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), HPE ASE – Storage Solutions, or equivalent.

• Experience with software-defined storage (SDS), high-performance storage systems, or cloud storage platforms.

• Knowledge of automation and scripting for storage management (Python, PowerShell, CLI).
