Summary
Job Title: SOC / Junior Security Engineer
Location: Fully Remote in PST (California ideally)
Duration: 4 5-month contract possibility for extension
Experience: 2 4 years in a SOC, Security Operations, or Junior Security Engineering role
Top Must Have s:
Solid networking + OS fundamentals
Hands-on experience with EDR / vulnerability tools
Incident response support experience
IAM & authentication knowledge (including PKI basics)
Strong troubleshooting + analytical mindset
Experience supporting senior engineers on implementation projects
Exposure to EDR and vulnerability management platforms
Strong networking and OS fundamentals
Basic IAM and PKI knowledge
Demonstrated troubleshooting experience
