We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electro-mechanical systems and devices. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical components, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of units does not deteriorate.
2. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
5. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
6. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
7. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
8. Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
9. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
10. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning optical components and systems.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
3. Experience performing preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
4. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electronic testing devices.
5. Experience with assembling, installing, and repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
7. Experience with troubleshooting and repairing optical components and systems.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong safety record and a commitment to consistently produce high-quality work.
10. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
