About the Role

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Administrator to support enterprise data integration platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, configuration, performance tuning, and production support of Informatica environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, proactive monitoring skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and administer Informatica PowerCenter / IICS environments.
Perform upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot failures, and optimize workflows.
Manage repositories, domains, nodes, and services.
Configure security (users, roles, groups) and manage access controls.
Coordinate release deployments and code migrations.
Provide production support and handle incident management.
Work closely with ETL developers, DBAs, and infrastructure teams.
Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience as an Informatica Administrator.
Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter administration.
Experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) is a plus.
Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments.
Experience with shell scripting.
Knowledge of Oracle / SQL Server databases.
Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of SDLC and change management processes.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Financial Services domain.
Knowledge of Autosys or other scheduling tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Work Model

Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Richmond, VA.
Long-term contract opportunity.
