Summary
HIRE Technology is in search of a Marketing Lead who will be responsible for defining and driving the overall marketing strategy to support customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for our Client. This role oversees the full marketing ecosystem, including campaign development, channel execution, analytics, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Merchandising, and Store Operations.The ideal candidate is a strategic and data-driven leader who can translate business objectives into measurable marketing programs while building scalable processes, tools, and insights to support long-term growth.
Remote - Candidates MUST work CST hours Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Travel: Candidate will be required to travel to Houston 2nd week of work and then again when requested.
Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and lead annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with revenue, margin, and customer growth objectives
Translate business priorities into integrated campaigns, customer acquisition and retention initiatives, and promotional strategies
Partner with Merchandising on pricing and promotional planning
Establish and manage a structured test-and-learn roadmap to evaluate and scale growth initiatives
Identify opportunities for market expansion, customer segmentation, and store-level growth with leadership
2. Campaign & Content Leadership
Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, including planning, execution, and performance analysis
Develop and manage the annual campaign calendar and monthly promotional plans
Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all channels
Partner with Creative teams to produce campaign themes and assets
Align campaigns with merchandising priorities and promotional cadence
3. Channel Strategy & Optimization
Oversee performance and execution across all marketing channels, including:
Digital & CRM: Email marketing strategy, segmentation, lifecycle programs, and customer data activation
Paid Media: Budget allocation, media strategy, and optimization of digital advertising
Social Media: Content strategy, publishing, engagement, and agency management
In-Store & Local Marketing: Flyers, signage, in-store communications, and localized campaigns
Promotions & Pricing: Development and execution of promotional offers aligned with revenue and margin goals
4. Sales & Store Alignment
Serve as a key liaison between Marketing, Sales, and Store Operations
Ensure marketing initiatives are clearly communicated, executable, and measurable at the store level
Enable Sales teams with campaign insights, customer targeting strategies, and lead generation support
Align marketing programs with store KPIs such as traffic, conversion, and revenue
5. Marketing Performance & Analytics
Develop and own a comprehensive measurement framework to assess marketing effectiveness
Define and track key metrics including CAC, LTV, ROI, and incremental revenue
Partner with Analytics and Revenue Management to build attribution models and evaluate impact
Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations
6. Customer Insights
Lead customer research efforts such as surveys, interviews, and behavioral analysis
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and purchase drivers
Apply insights to improve campaign effectiveness and customer experience
7. Operational Excellence
Build and standardize scalable marketing processes, workflows, and planning cadences
Establish best practices for campaign execution, content development, and CRM integration
Manage agency and vendor relationships
Centralize assets, documentation, and marketing workflows
8. Innovation & Optimization
Lead experimentation initiatives including referral programs, promotional pilots, and in-store activations
Develop frameworks to test, measure, and scale successful initiatives
Continuously optimize marketing efforts and discontinue underperforming tactics
Requirements:
10+ years of marketing experience, including ownership of multi-channel strategies
Proven track record of driving measurable business results
Experience with:
Marketing analytics and performance measurement
CRM and lifecycle marketing
Digital and performance marketing channels
