Role Overview:
  • We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong .NET, Microsoft Azure, and event-driven microservices experience to lead the technical delivery of a life-sciences cold-chain IoT platform.
  • The person will work onsite with the client's architect and technical team and act as the technical bridge to the distributed engineering team.
Tech Stack:
.Net, Azure, AKS/Kubernetes, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Dapper, Elasticsearch, Redis, Angular, Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Terraform and Helm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the technical solution for the MVP and align it with the client architect.
  • Lead technical discovery covering architecture, integrations, NFRs, ERP REST interfaces, and integration contracts.
  • Design event-driven services, including message contracts, ordering, idempotency, replay, late/backfilled device data, and consistency.
  • Drive multi-tenant data isolation, roles/permissions, audit trails, electronic signatures, and data-residency design.
  • Guide the offshore development team through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering standards.
  • Coordinate framework upgrades, environments, CI/CD changes, and releases.
  • Work with QA on technical acceptance, NFRs, performance, and security.
  • Represent the team in PI planning and technical decision forums.
  • Champion AI-assisted engineering using Cursor.
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with .NET web development.
  • Previous Tech Lead or Solution Architect experience.
  • Strong Azure cloud-native experience: AKS/Kubernetes, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Redis, Key Vault, API Management.
  • Strong event-driven microservices design experience: asynchronous messaging, idempotency, ordering, eventual consistency, and failure recovery.
  • Strong SQL Server and multi-tenant SaaS data modelling experience.
  • Dapper or explicit SQL experience.
  • Working knowledge of Angular / TypeScript.
  • Azure DevOps YAML pipelines, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Security knowledge: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and RBAC.
