Program Manager/Engagement Lead

Role: Program Manager/Engagement Lead (global circuit ordering and carrier management)

Location: Menlo Park, CA (Onsite)

THE ROLE

You will lead Tenarai's delivery of a global circuit ordering and carrier management engagement for a large-scale hyperscale infrastructure client. You are the primary client contact, delivery owner, and escalation authority for a team of specialists managing circuits across backbone leased line and internet access workstreams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

•     Own the end-to-end client relationship with senior engineering and commercial stakeholders. Maintain clear communication, delivery confidence, and trust throughout the engagement.

•     Drive weekly and monthly reporting cycles, translating portfolio data into clear status updates, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations.

•     Manage delivery accountability across the team, ensuring circuit orders, carrier escalations, and program milestones stay on track and that risks are surfaced early.

•     Coordinate with the client's internal teams across network engineering, data center operations, and commercial sourcing.

•     Manage the engagement's commercial model: the hybrid retainer and per-circuit pricing structure, SLA commitments, and proactive risk management.

•     Provide technical oversight across both backbone leased line and internet access workstreams, supporting design and acceptance decisions where required.

•     Lead active infrastructure programs including 100G backbone upgrade planning, hub expansion, and new data center build circuit design.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

•     12 or more years in network delivery, managed services, or telecom program management with direct client accountability.

•     Hands-on experience managing circuit ordering or carrier delivery programs at scale in a data center or large enterprise environment.

•     Technical fluency across carrier Ethernet, leased line, and DIA services. You engage credibly with engineers and can support informed delivery and acceptance decisions.

•     Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional specialist teams in high-paced, delivery-focused environments.

Good to Have

•     Prior experience in a hyperscaler or large-scale data center delivery program.

Familiarity with enterprise network delivery workflows, internal approval processes, and carrier management at a global scale.
