Summary

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Mission Critical & Data Facilities

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, technically elite Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing & Mission-Critical group. In this role, you will be a lead technical contributor on high-complexity, large-scale data center and industrial campus projects. You will own the full electrical design lifecycle-from initial power distribution strategies and medium-voltage campus conveyance to low-voltage communications and emergency system hardening.
This is a leadership-oriented role for a collaborative engineer who thrives in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments. You will not only produce high-fidelity construction documents and Revit/BIM models but will also act as a technical mentor, driving team quality reviews and managing project scope, budget, and schedule. Whether you prefer a remote work environment or wish to utilize one of our regional offices, you will be fully supported by a geographically distributed team of industry experts.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Technical Leadership
System Architecture: Engineer and design mission-critical electrical systems including medium/low voltage distribution, redundant UPS topologies, emergency standby generation, grounding matrices, and lighting systems.
Complex Infrastructure: Lead the design of campus-style power distribution, including underground conveyance and medium-voltage transformation strategies for large-scale greenfield sites.
BIM/Revit Integration: Author and manage high-fidelity electrical designs within Revit/BIM environments, ensuring seamless coordination with structural, mechanical, and architectural disciplines.
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of associate electrical engineers; perform rigorous quality reviews of design packages to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
Full-Lifecycle Management: Own project deliverables from the schematic phase through construction administration; manage budget, scope, and technical quality milestones.

Project Administration & Client Interface
Stakeholder Engagement: Interface directly with project owners, end-clients, and on-site contractors to provide field engineering support and resolve construction-phase technical queries.
Retrofit & Expansion: Apply deep expertise to the retrofit and expansion of existing building systems, navigating the constraints of operational facilities to accommodate evolving client power requirements.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs maintain strict adherence to NFPA 70 (NEC) and other relevant building and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Experience Baseline: Minimum of six (6) years of engineering design experience focusing on medium and low voltage distribution, campus-style power systems, and mission-critical building electrical infrastructure.
Technical Proficiency:
oExtensive knowledge of industrial facility design and campus-scale power conveyance.
oHands-on proficiency with Revit or BIM software.
oSolid, foundational working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage project-level scope and schedules.

Preferred Attributes
Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in dedicated data center facility design.
Proven experience in the design of large-scale projects established on greenfield sites.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a forward-thinking approach to sustainable and innovative power design.
