Must-Haves

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in steam power plant operations
  • Strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours on short notice when needed
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check

What You\'ll Do

  • Own the reliability and performance of plant rotating equipment, including steam turbines, pumps, valves, piping, and material handling equipment
  • Monitor equipment health, build performance trends, and interpret predictive maintenance (PdM) data
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and execute outages on scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop and lead reliability improvement projects and evaluate contractor proposals
  • Coordinate contractors during testing and maintenance
  • Lead Management of Change (MOC) assignments and support 5-year budget planning
  • Provide technical guidance to operations, maintenance, and other departments
  • Support safety programs and regulatory permit compliance

Nice-to-Haves

  • Steam turbine experience
  • Experience with OSIsoft PI, Maximo, Emerson Ovation, AutoCAD, Intertek AWARE, or TapRoot

Compensation and Benefits

  • $125,000 to $145,000 per year
