SAP Ariba Sourcing Lead

Introduction: We are seeking a SAP Ariba Sourcing Lead to join our client's team in Sacramento, California. This role involves leading sourcing initiatives within a government agency using SAP Ariba technology. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and optimization of sourcing processes to ensure project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Ariba Sourcing implementations, managing project scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder requirements.
• Define and guide sourcing strategies, leveraging Ariba for competitive sourcing events, RFx processes, and supplier negotiations.
• Configure, optimize, and enhance the SAP Ariba Sourcing platform for seamless integration with procurement and ERP systems.
• Drive user adoption through mentoring, user documentation development, training sessions, and organizational change management activities.
• Analyze sourcing data, KPIs, and system insights to identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and process optimization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading SAP Ariba Sourcing implementations with a focus on project scope and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of configuring and optimizing SAP Ariba Sourcing platforms, supporting complex RFx or sourcing events.
• Experience in driving user adoption and change management for sourcing processes, with effective training and mentoring skills.
• Preferred: SAP Ariba Certification and experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a focus on process improvement.
