Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise mainframe applications while supporting batch and online transaction processing.
- Participate in application modernization, migration initiatives, system integration, and performance optimization activities.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform system analysis, and implement solutions that improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support application development, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5+ years of experience in mainframe application development, enterprise systems support, batch processing, transaction processing, application modernization, and system integration.

- Experience with mainframe performance tuning, monitoring, and system optimization.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software modernization, code analysis, and application lifecycle management.
