Summary
Senior .NET Developer
6+ months | 100% Remote
This is a hands-on, senior-level role for someone who’s comfortable owning full-stack Microsoft solutions from the ground up. You’ll be designing, building, and improving modern applications using the .NET ecosystem, working closely with analysts and other developers to turn real business needs into clean, scalable software.
The work spans backend APIs, front-end UI, and database design, so this is a great fit if you like seeing the whole picture, not just one slice of it. You’ll also have a real voice in architecture decisions, performance tuning, and how new projects get built the right way from day one.
What this role looks like day to day (in plain English):
You’ll be developing and maintaining web applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET, building APIs that actually scale, and creating modern UIs with Angular 18 or Blazor. You’ll collaborate with business partners, propose architecture for new projects, dig into performance issues when they pop up, and help the team continuously improve how things are built and delivered.
This isn’t a ticket-factory role. It’s for someone who likes problem-solving, mentoring through example, and contributing to design discussions; not just coding what’s handed to them.
Must-haves (these matter):
Deep experience with ASP.NET Core and building RESTful APIs
Strong C# background using Visual Studio
Solid SQL Server skills (schema design, queries, stored procedures, SSMS)
Front-end experience with Angular (18) and/or Blazor
Experience designing applications from scratch (architecture matters here)
Hands-on use of Entity Framework Core
Comfortable writing unit and integration tests
Strong understanding of modern UI tech (TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS)
Nice to have (not deal-breakers):
Power BI reporting or data modeling
Experience with SSIS, background jobs, or schedulers
Accessibility / ADA 508 awareness
Performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace
Exposure to education or public-sector systems
What tends to do well here:
You’re naturally curious and like figuring out why something works (or doesn’t)
You communicate clearly and don’t disappear behind code
You enjoy collaborating, not just executing
You’re comfortable being the “senior voice” when architecture or design decisions are on the table
If you’re looking for a fully remote role where your experience actually shapes the solution, not just the sprint, this one should feel like a solid fit.
