Corpay is currently looking to hire a Corpay is currently looking to hire a Product Owner within our ALE Solutions division. This position falls under our Product Management team and is located in St. Charles, IL. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, external customers, and engineering teams to drive product initiatives across multiple internal and external applications. You will manage the product backlog, lead requirements gathering, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure delivery aligns with the ALE and Corpay Lodging strategic plan. You will report directly to the Product Director and regularly collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Insurance Carrier partners.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Collaborating with internal business teams and external customers (insurance adjusters, carriers, policyholders) to understand and anticipate their needs, translating them into clearly defined product requirements, workflow diagrams, and mock-ups
  • Collaborating with the Product Director on defining the product vision annually, quarterly, and for each sprint, maintaining a cohesive vision throughout the process
  • Supporting the Product Director with creating and maintaining a product roadmap based on the strategic vision
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing tasks based on changing requirements and stakeholder input across multiple product lines, including internal intranet tools, external mobile applications, and carrier-facing portals
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation, including design and development, ensuring alignment between engineering teams and business objectives
  • Leading user acceptance testing (UAT) for assigned initiatives, coordinating testing activities with internal teams and external customers to ensure quality delivery
  • Participating in Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, refinement sessions, and retrospectives within a two-week sprint cadence
  • Developing and documenting business process models to illustrate current and future state workflows
  • Producing product reports, monitoring KPIs, and managing reporting requests from sales teams and insurance carriers
  • Providing product support to internal and external customers, serving as the subject matter expert for assigned initiatives
  • Working with the product team and end-users to deliver status updates and progress reports on active initiatives
  • Resolving issues across multiple concurrent initiatives, balancing competing demands among scope, delivery targets, and stakeholders with differing needs and expectations

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing product development in a technology environment, including applications development, change management, and customer support
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer service to translate business needs into actionable product requirements
  • Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on experience participating in sprint ceremonies, backlog management, and iterative delivery cycles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess unusual circumstances, identify root causes, and recommend creative solutions
  • Expert performance tracking, monitoring delivery milestones, and analyzing complex problems across concurrent initiatives
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to influence change without formal authority across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience fostering strong relationships across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to learn quickly and thoroughly in rapidly changing conditions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Agile Certification (CSM, CSPO, SAFe, or equivalent)
  • Experience in the insurance industry or hospitality industry
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with basic technical concepts (APIs, system integrations, database structures)

Pay Transparency
  • This salary range is provided for locationswhich require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range depends on a number of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience training licenses and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $90,000-$95,000 per annum.
