JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Test Strategy Lead Consultant with expertise in Global Core Banking Automation, based in the NY/NJ region with a hybrid work model (3-4 days/week). This role requires a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience to architect, govern, and drive comprehensive testing and automation frameworks for a global core banking platform. The individual will oversee projects across multiple international geographies, focusing on continuous quality engineering and complex core banking systems to ensure seamless, compliant, and highly automated platform rollouts that integrate disparate regional systems into a cohesive global footprint. Key Responsibilities Design, establish, and mandate the master test strategy for complex core banking transformations, accounting for localized product variants, multi-currency processing, and distinct geographical variations. Provide direct leadership and delivery oversight for core banking automation projects across multiple international hubs, ensuring consistent quality standards. Drive the evolution of legacy testing models into highly automated pipelines, optimizing for Straight-Through Processing (STP), ledger integrity, and high-volume transaction environments. Provide executive technical oversight and governance across distributed global teams, aligning delivery across varying time zones and regional operating models. Implement a disciplined, risk-based stage-gate methodology for release management, providing clear code quality and release confidence metrics. Required Qualifications 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services quality engineering with a track record in Tier-1 Core Banking Systems (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, FIS, or major regional clearing platforms). 10+ years of experience managing cross-border delivery of core banking automation projects across multiple distinct countries or regions. 10+ years of expert-level capability in architecting enterprise-scale automated testing frameworks, BDD/TDD, and automated regression models within CI/CD setups. 10+ years of experience with global banking compliance frameworks impacting data masking, obfuscation, and environment provisioning across international test boundaries. 5+ years of experience in cloud-native and hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure, or private cloud infrastructure) supporting enterprise banking systems globally. Preferred Qualifications Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex quality risks and automation strategies into business terms for C-suite and regional leaders. Strategically located in New York or New Jersey, with experience collaborating with and orchestrating teams across global time zones (EMEA, LATAM, APAC). Ability to align divergent technical and business priorities across core infrastructure, regional product owners, and external delivery partners globally. Education: Masters Degree
