Summary

Role Overview  Collaborate closely with engineering and product management teams to plan, develop, and maintain user-focused technical documentation across multiple product features or applications, aligned with established content strategies. Contribute to shaping future content strategy for the supported product area or business unit while continuously improving content development processes, including DITA-based information models, writing standards, and style guidelines. Build deep expertise in the client s product ecosystem, the specific product area, and the user audience being supported.
 Key Responsibilities

Partner with engineering and product management to create and maintain high-quality, user-centered technical documentation.

Support and influence the evolution of content strategy for assigned products or business units.

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of content development workflows, DITA-based information models, and documentation standards.

Develop a strong understanding of the overall product ecosystem and gain subject-matter expertise in supported product areas and user needs.

Plan, create, and deliver documentation independently in a fast-paced, globally distributed software development environment.

Demonstrate leadership by mentoring other writers, adapting to changing priorities, and supporting effective cross-functional collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of content development lifecycles and documentation processes.

6+ years of professional experience in technical communication.

Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

Portfolio or samples of technical writing or related work.

Experience authoring in DITA or other XML-based structured authoring frameworks.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple documentation efforts in dynamic environments.
