Job Description:
As a Senior Configuration Analyst, you will drive configuration-baseline control, data-management rigor, and engineering change governance for critical defense programs. You'll collaborate with world-class engineers and program teams to ensure every design, document, and baseline meets stringent internal and contractual requirements
Responsibilities:
Maintain the authoritative product configuration baseline and execute disciplined revision-control processes.
Develop, sustain, and optimize documentation-traceability workflows across engineering and manufacturing.
Review, categorize, and track Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and change notices against approved baselines.
Analyze Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and notify impacted stakeholders of configuration impacts and required actions.
Ensure all CM/DM practices comply with contractual, regulatory, and internal standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Lead change-management activities from concept through product sustainment.
Support special projects and cross-site CM enhancement initiatives to strengthen T3 fidelity.
Produce clear, accurate, and compliant documentation for mission-critical work.
Mentor junior CM analysts and promote best practices across the organization
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree with 10+ years of Configuration Management experience
(OR bachelor's degree with 6+ years - preferred).
Experience applying CM policies, procedures, workflows, and tools.
Ability to interpret BOMs, Engineering Drawings, and Technical Data Packages.
Strong understanding of document control, revision control, and change-management principles.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
CM Certifications (CMII/CM2, CMPIC, or equivalent).
Experience with PLM Systems (Windchill, Teamcenter, Agile PLM, ENOVIA).
Experience with ERP Systems, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence.
Knowledge of Configuration Management principles (SAE EIA-649).
Familiarity with electronics design, aerospace manufacturing, or defense-industry programs.
