  • Infrastructure Runbook Documentation
    • \\n
  • Capture and standardize operational procedures, recovery steps, troubleshooting processes, escalation paths, and platform-specific support documentation.
    • \\n
  • Establish a consistent runbook template and identify documentation gaps across the infrastructure environment.
    • \\n
  • RBAC / Privileged Access Cleanup
    • \\n
  • Review Azure subscription access, eliminate unnecessary direct user assignments, migrate access to standardized Entra ID security groups, and onboard privileged roles into PIM to reduce standing administrative access.
    • \\n
  • Validate assignments with platform owners and document the resulting access model.
    • \\n
  • Infrastructure Inventory Validation
    • \\n
  • Validate physical server and infrastructure inventory against current records, including iLO/iDRAC connectivity, hardware ownership, location, lifecycle status, firmware visibility, and management IP information.
    • \\n
  • Reconcile discrepancies and update the authoritative inventory.
    • \\n
  • Monitoring Validation / Coverage Cleanup
    • \\n
  • Validate that all supported infrastructure platforms are properly discovered, monitored, and alerting in LogicMonitor.
    • \\n
  • Identify monitoring gaps, stale devices, duplicate objects, incorrect collectors, missing thresholds, and systems without appropriate alert coverage.

Qualifications
\\n

\\n

\\n
    \\n
  • Infrastructure Technical Writer / Systems Engineer with broad Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud familiarity.
    • \\n
  • Needs enough technical depth to interview SMEs, understand procedures, and turn tribal knowledge into usable documentation.
    • \\n
  • Azure / Entra Identity Engineer experienced with Azure RBAC, Entra ID groups, PIM, privileged access governance, subscription management, and PowerShell/Azure CLI automation.
    • \\n
  • Data Center / Infrastructure Engineer with HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, server hardware, VMware/Hyper-V, networking fundamentals, and inventory experience.
    • \\n
  • Scripting skills would be useful for automating discovery and reconciliation.
    • \\n
  • Monitoring / Infrastructure Operations Engineer with strong LogicMonitor experience plus Windows, Linux, VMware, storage, backup, network/device monitoring, SNMP/WMI/API integrations, and alert/threshold configuration.
