Senior Product Manager – Healthcare

Potential Future Requirement: Onsite in Latham, NY may be required at some point during the project. Consultants will receive appropriate advance notice before any onsite requirement begins.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager / Product Manager / Product Owner with 9+ years of Product Management or Product Development experience and strong Healthcare industry experience.

The role focuses on Product Strategy, Product Vision, Product Roadmap, Product Backlog Management, Feature Prioritization, Agile, Stakeholder Management, Product Requirements, Sprint Planning, and Release Planning.

The Product Manager will work with business and product stakeholders to translate business needs into product priorities, evaluate features based on business value and ROI, and guide product development and releases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and maintain Product Vision, Product Strategy, Product Roadmap, priorities, and growth opportunities.
• Own and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value, ROI, stakeholder needs, and product strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Directors, Business Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business needs and product opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into product features, user stories, epics, and themes.
• Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure requirements are clearly understood by relevant teams.
• Assess and prioritize features, stories, epics, and themes based on business value and product strategy.
• Work within Agile / Scrum environments to support sprint and release objectives.
• Identify and mitigate roadblocks affecting sprint goals, product delivery, and releases.
• Lead product release planning and establish expectations for delivery of new functionality.
• Communicate product strategy, roadmap priorities, release plans, and release success stories to stakeholders.
• Serve as a Product Ambassador, communicating product capabilities and strategy internally and externally.
• Identify opportunities for new features, product improvements, and growth strategies.
• Stay current with Agile Product Management methodologies, trends, and best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 9+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Development.
• Healthcare industry experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and Agile Product Management.
• Experience managing Product Roadmaps and Product Backlogs.
• Strong understanding of business value, ROI, product strategy, and feature prioritization.
• Experience with User Stories, Epics, Themes, Sprint Planning, and Release Planning.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage competing and conflicting priorities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and pitch-deck creation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Management, or related discipline.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Business Intelligence / BI tools.
• Experience with omnichannel engagement and digital systems.
• Experience with product and project management tools.
• Strong sales-driven mindset.
• MBA or high-ticket sales experience may be considered as an alternative to the stated requirements.
