Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Developer to develop customized coding, integrate software, and configure solutions. The role involves leading and participating in the development, testing, and implementation of complex solutions while adhering to company standards. This position operates in a dynamic, high-tempo environment and requires a solution-oriented individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop customized coding, perform software integration, and configure solutions using project-specific tools.
- Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex solutions, including robust unit testing.
- Build and maintain security controls, monitoring, and non-functional monitoring capabilities for applications in production.
- Provide escalated support for complex applications and act as a resource for teammates with less experience.
- Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
- In an Agile environment, deliver high-quality working software, automate tasks, and engage with the business from design to implementation.
- Develop code in accordance with acceptance criteria, maintain automated unit tests, and support integration testing.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required.
Experience: Six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
Technical Skills:- Extensive experience with .NET.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and best practices.
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.
- Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems.
- Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree and ten or more years of experience.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies.
- Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling).
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ, JMS) and build tools (e.g., Git, Maven, Jenkins).
- Experience building and scaling applications at an enterprise level.
