We are seeking an Experienced Product Support Engineering Manager to lead a Product Support Capability in Oklahoma City, OK (100% on-site). This role involves managing an integrating team of engineers and specialists to develop, deliver, and maintain Logistics Product Data (LPD) and services. You will coordinate customer Product Support requests and support logistics design influence activities necessary to meet system performance requirements while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an integrated team of Product Support engineers and specialists.
- Manage the team's development of Logistics Product Data (LPD) products using Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International Standards for Product Support Analysis (PSA) and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA).
- Coordinate task prioritization balancing stakeholder, contractual, and strategic priorities.
- Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.
- The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
- Collaborate with the technical leadership teams consisting of Chief engineers, system architects and other product managers.
- Coordinate with program management and engineering teams to develop and maintain execution plans.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop mitigation or execution plans.
- Track execution progress and provide guidance for adjustments where necessary.
- Assist with the development and execution of Product Support and technical elements of internal business cases and external customer proposals.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)- 3+ years leading an engineering or product support team
- Experience translating customer requirements into engineering tasks.
- Experience in Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), Reliability, Maintainability or other product support logistics.
- 5+ years experience supporting military aircraft maintenance activities and aircraft sustainment support.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Knowledge of Product Support Analysis (SAE International TA-STD-0017), Logistics Product Data (SAE International GEIA-STD-0007), Logistics Product Data Handbook (SAE International GEIA-HB-0007), Logistics Product Data Reports Handbook (SAE International TA-HB-0007-1), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) (SAE International AS1390), Product Support Analysis (MIL-HDBK-502), and Level of Repair Analysis (MIL-HDBK-1390).
- Familiarity with other logistics tools such as Vmetric, EDCAS, COMPASS, CASA, etc.
- Understanding of Repair Level Analysis (RLA) and life cycle cost modeling.
