Position OverviewWe are seeking a Software Engineer to support development efforts for advanced real-time and defense-related systems. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who enjoys hands-on coding, working across multiple projects, and contributing to system integration in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software applications using C++, C#, Python, and/or Java
- Contribute to multiple projects, supporting development across various system components
- Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative development efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integration
- Utilize DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps) for development and tracking
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and integration issues
- Support technical decision-making and contribute ideas to improve solutions and processes
- Deliver high-quality work in a lean, fast-moving environment
Required Qualifications- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- 4-8 years of experience in software development
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C++, C#, or Python
- Exposure to real-time or embedded systems (Linux, RTOS, or similar environments)
- Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite full-time during standard business hours
Preferred Skills & Experience- Experience with defense or mission-critical systems (e.g., navigation, control systems, or similar domains)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps
- Exposure to embedded systems development or distributed architectures
- Experience supporting integration and testing efforts
- Background in fast-paced or prototyping-focused environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.92/hr.
