What You'll Do


  • Analyze software requirements to develop effective test strategies and ensure full test coverage

  • Design, author, and review detailed L2 (ECU-level) test cases using tools such as TestRail

  • Execute multiple testing types including smoke, sanity, regression, and stability testing

  • Configure and integrate test environments, including test management systems, defect tracking tools, and measurement equipment

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Python and CAPL

  • Build and support test harnesses, including NI hardware and development benches

  • Execute testing for nightly engineering builds and release cycles with detailed logging and monitoring

  • Identify, document, and track defects; manage retesting and resolution processes

  • Generate detailed reports on test execution, coverage, and performance metrics

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to determine sources of failures across the system, environment, or test design


What You Bring


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, including L2 (ECU-level) validation

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation framework development and scripting (Python, CAPL)

  • 3+ years of software verification experience

  • 3+ years of experience building and supporting test benches

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working within Agile development environments

  • Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub

  • Strong understanding of embedded systems and controls testing
