Description

Located in a regional area with a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence three days a week.
Contract position with a focus on data engineering and metadata management.
Responsible for bridging business language and database structures using generic technology tools.
Involves deep data analysis and SQL work.
Collaborates with architects and engineers to ensure accurate data mappings.
Engages in testing and validation of SQL queries and data mappings.
Requires strong analytical skills and experience with database management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Review and define business terms and concepts from various documents.
Analyze data structures to support business terminology.
Create precise mappings from business terms to database structures.
Support the development of a semantic layer for data interpretation.
Test and validate SQL queries against expected data structures.

Qualifications

4 years of experience in data engineering, metadata management, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with database metadata.
Strong skills in SQL and intermediate programming abilities.
Experience with business documentation and data dictionaries.
Familiarity with natural language processing and semantic modeling.
