Job DetailsWhat You'll Do
- Own day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end close
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting analyses
- Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Review financial reporting from third-party property managers and conduct detailed variance analyses
- Advise and direct external property managers on accounting matters and best practices
- Assist with onboarding newly acquired assets into the company's accounting systems
- Perform lease analyses, net rent calculations, and property-level financial evaluations
- Support joint venture and construction audits
- Maintain compliance with J-SOX internal control requirements
- Prepare documentation for corporate income and property tax filings, including TC-201 reporting
- Optimize and maintain the Yardi accounting platform
- Stay current on GAAP updates and evolving accounting standards
What You Bring
BA/BS in Accounting
Active CPA license
3+ years of accounting experience.
Big 4 audit experience with real estate strongly preferred
Yardi experience a plus
