Calypso BA

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Business Analyst (BA) with strong capital markets knowledge and handson expertise in Calypso workflows, trade lifecycle processes, and fronttoback system functionality. The ideal candidate will partner with business users, technology teams, and external stakeholders to design, enhance, and support Calypso-based solutions for trading, risk management, clearing, and settlement operations.

Prior experience of working on Stock Options on CBOE/Nasdaq (US markets), WEX tool integration experiment preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

• Work closely with trading desks, operations, risk, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, use cases, and workflow designs for Calypso enhancements.
• Conduct gap analysis between current system capabilities and business requirements.

Calypso Functional Expertise

• Configure and support Calypso modules related to Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Settlements, Messaging, and Accounting.
• Support Calypso trade lifecycle workflows across multiple asset classes (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, Equity Derivatives).
• Analyze Calypso workflows, product setups, event processing, and trade validation rules.
• Assist in designing and testing Calypso interfaces using messaging frameworks (XML, MQ, FpML).

Project Execution

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.
• Create functional test cases, execute UAT, and support business users during testing cycles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain user stories in project management tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
• Drive system upgrades, production releases, and regression testing for Calypso platform enhancements.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience integrating WEX with Calypso.
• Experience integrating the Imagine tool with Calypso.
• Exposure to additional equity derivatives products and U.S. market workflows.
