Summary

Position Summary

Our client is undertaking a large-scale network infrastructure refresh across multiple network closets and is looking for a resources to support the project. This role is ideal for someone with a networking who enjoys coordinating projects, working with multiple teams, and being hands-on with network equipment and cabling.
The position will focus on network migration support, equipment moves, documentation, asset tracking, and stakeholder coordination. Major configuration and after-hours cutovers will be handled by the core network team, while these resources will support planning, execution, validation, and communication efforts during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to schedule and execute network closet migrations.
  • Assist with racking, unracking, and relocating network equipment.
  • Support cabling migrations and network hardware replacement activities.
  • Track assets, equipment moves, and cabling changes while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate IP address changes and verify functionality following migrations.
  • Update network management and administrative systems such as:
    • Cisco ISE
    • Infoblox (IPAM)
    • Cisco Catalyst Center
  • Communicate effectively with network, server, application, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide basic post-migration troubleshooting and validation of connectivity.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, labeling, diagrams, schedules, and change records.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of networking knowledge and project coordination experience. Experience with network hardware, cabling, IP addressing, Cisco environments, and infrastructure migrations would be especially valuable.
Just as important, they are looking for someone with an outgoing, personable communication style who can work effectively with a variety of teams and personalities. This person will spend a significant amount of time coordinating activities, communicating status updates, gathering information, and ensuring everyone involved stays aligned. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset will be critical for success in this role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
