We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL database environments across cloud and on premise platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands on expertise in AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL environments, along with deep experience in database performance tuning, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Experience and Skills:
8+ years of overall Database Administration experience
Minimum 6+ years of hands on PostgreSQL DBA experience
Strong experience with AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL
Experience with Linux Red Hat environments
Strong SQL expertise and database design experience
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
MS SQL Database Administration experience
Experience writing and optimizing Stored Procedures
Experience with replication, clustering, and high availability solutions
Strong backup and recovery planning experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, configure, monitor, and tune PostgreSQL databases in AWS and on premise environments
Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Configure and manage replication, clustering, and high availability solutions
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot production issues
Automate database maintenance and operational tasks
Collaborate with development teams on schema design and SQL performance optimization
Manage database security and access controls
Perform capacity planning and maintain detailed documentation
Deliver DBA scripts and documentation as required
