AVEVA MES Software Analyst

Job Title: Operations Software Analyst

Duration: 9-12 months

Location: Remote, with 50% travel, 2 weeks per month…(within the US…there will be off-hours traveling…mostly M-F, some weekends)

Hours/Week: 40-hour, 8 hour days, M-F…50 hour week while traveling

Travel: Up to 50%

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain AVEVA MES applications across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Participate in the implementation of new MES functionality, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and reports to support production.
• Troubleshoot MES issues and coordinate resolutions with internal and external resources.
• Provide end-user training and documentation to ensure the effective adoption of the system.
• Assist in integrating MES with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Travel up to 50% to support site deployments, user engagement, and training activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with MES systems.
• Proficiency with SQL (queries, views, and data analysis).
• Experience with programming languages and scripting( e.g., vb.net, C#, Aveva Qick Script, Python)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with end users, technical teams, and management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to manufacturing sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA MES.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, process data, or production performance
• metrics.
• Experience integrating MES with an ERP/WMS or other business systems.
