Key Responsibilities
Perform SAP ECC system installation, configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Manage Support Packs, Kernel patches, Add-ons, and Enhancement Packs
Execute system refresh activities, including client export/import, homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies, and post-refresh validations
Plan and execute SAP upgrades and migrations
Manage backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems
Perform transport management using STMS and coordinate SAP landscapes
Administer SAP HANA databases in single-node and scale-out environments
Perform HANA backup, recovery, and system replication activities
Monitor and tune HANA performance, including CPU, memory, disk utilization, and expensive statements
Manage HANA revisions, patches, upgrades, space management, and housekeeping
Troubleshoot HANA alerts and database-related issues
Monitor SAP systems using ST22, SM21, SM50/66, DBACOCKPIT, and RZ20
Proactively manage system performance, dumps, locks, queues, and other operational issues
Manage background jobs using SM36/37 and troubleshoot workflow-related issues
Monitor and troubleshoot IDocs, RFCs, and system interfaces
Support high availability and overall SAP system stability
Perform SAP user administration and manage roles and authorizations
Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks
Support SOX and audit-related SAP controls
Manage tablespace growth, database cleanup, reorganizations, and housekeeping activities
Perform capacity planning for SAP systems and databases
Support production SAP environments operating under defined service-level requirements
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience
Bachelors Degree
