Now Hiring a Manufacturing Technician on 1st Shift in Sparta!

This individual would be responsible for the Powder Painting component of production. Along with that, they will be doing general assembly, packing, shipping and receiving on a daily basis. Proficiency in computers is needed for this position.

Schedule: Monday to Thursday 6AM-4:30PM
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Manufacturing Technician Job duties:
  • Places stickers on parts, load parts on racks, load racks on conveyor line.
  • Completes assigned tasks by operating a variety of machines, equipment and tools including but not limited to: CNC machines, molding, tumbler, water jet, string machines, bander, pallet wrapper, shipping, engraving, painting, fork lift, pallet jack, walk behind fork truck, hand tools, and PC's.
  • Assembles bow components according to bow specifications, places required stickers on bow.
  • Removes finished product and Work-In-Process from racks.
  • Inspects parts to ensure company quality standards are met.
  • Participates in Improvement projects or events, when assigned.
  • Reads specifications of bow to understand dexterity, color and model.
  • Packs bows and parts in proper packages for customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Receives components and raw materials into inventory, confirming accuracy of items received, places components into proper location.
  • Assists in all departments as needed.
  • Performs daily housekeeping duties.

Manufacturing Technician Requirements:
  • Previous machine operation required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Individual must possess: ability to adapt to change in priorities on a daily basis; strong mechanical abilities; basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools; excellent verbal communication skills; professional demeanor and appearances-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively; self-motivation skills
  • Ability to build positive work relationships with coworkers and customers
  • Ability to interact professionally with a wide variety of people.
  • Must be able to perform basic math
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office products
  • A keen sense of touch and hearing to test the products quality
