Job Summary

The Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance its current ServiceNow platform while contributing to future platform re-implementation initiatives. The selected consultant will be responsible for ServiceNow development, workflow automation, service catalog enhancements, portal customization, integrations, reporting, and platform optimization.

The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including participation in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations, with expertise in ITSM and CSM modules. This role requires the ability to work independently, manage complex development tasks, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development & Configuration

  • Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions.
  • Work on backlog items and platform enhancements.
  • Utilize Flow Designer, Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Catalog development.
  • Optimize platform performance and functionality.

Service Catalog & Employee Center

  • Develop and maintain complex Service Catalog items.
  • Enhance Employee Center / Service Portal functionality.
  • Improve self-service capabilities and user experience.

Knowledge Management

  • Maintain and enhance Knowledge Base structure.
  • Ensure governance, categorization, and usability standards.

Implementations & Integrations

  • Participate in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations.
  • Gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Develop integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Support module deployments, migrations, and upgrades.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.

Documentation

  • Create technical documentation, SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge articles.

Required Skills

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow Development/Administration.
