Job Description: Sr. Lead Software Engineer – Front End (Angular, JavaScript, CSS)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Lead Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern, responsive, and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular, JavaScript, and CSS, strong front-end architecture experience, and the ability to mentor engineers while driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-scale front-end applications using Angular.
• Architect reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Establish and enforce front-end development standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development teams.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Drive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the front-end technology stack.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, web standards, and accessibility principles.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating with backend services.
• Proficiency with Git, build tools, and modern front-end development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with state management libraries and component-based architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and modern deployment practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or similar.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and web security best practices.
• Experience with design systems and UI component libraries.
