VDC Specialist / BIM Coordinator (Mechanical & Plumbing) REMOTE (Northeast Only)

We are hiring multiple VDC Specialists / BIM Coordinators for fulltime, remote roles. ABSOLUTELY NO 3rd PARTIES.

Role Overview

Seeking detail-driven VDC professionals to produce LOD400 BIM models, coordinate multitrade layouts, and deliver fabrication-ready documentation for mechanical and plumbing systems. This role supports modeling, coordination, field communication, and mentoring junior VDC team members.

Key Responsibilities

• LOD400 BIM modeling for mechanical & plumbing systems

• Multitrade spatial coordination and weekly coordination meetings

• RFI creation and tracking

• Shop drawings, hanger drawings, sleeve drawings, BOMs, pipe cut lists, fabrication labels

• Export hanger/sleeve coordinates for robotic total station layout

• Field coordination to ensure fabrication and installation accuracy

• Support and train junior VDC staff

Required Skills

• Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Fabrication CADmep, Navisworks

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and construction documents

Experience

• 2+ years of mechanical/plumbing installation or 3D modeling experience

• Solid understanding of BIM workflows and construction documentation
