Summary
Role: Oracle HCM Engineer II
Houston, TX - Onsite
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules.
Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
Acquire and utilize business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster business expertise solutions.
Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.
Willing to travel up to 10%
Qualifications - Internal
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 15 years of related industry or technical experience
is required.
A bachelor s degree in computer science, MIS or CIS is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the following Oracle E-Business Suite HCM modules: HR, Payroll, OTL, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), Absence Management, Workflow is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle Learning Management (OLM) and Compensation Workbench (CWB) is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Payroll, Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB), and OTL Fast Formula is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with OTL time entry rules is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Absence management is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with the Oracle Payroll process, pay element and fast formula is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with HRMS US Year-end W2 process is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the following Oracle Development Tools: Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML Publisher,
Web-ADI, Workflow, and SQL Loader is required.
Experience in development, implementations, production support, and upgrades is required.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite: R12.2 is required.
Experience with Oracle RDBMS: 19c running on Linux x86 64 bit is preferred.
Experience with Oracle Developer 10g (Forms, Reports, XML Publisher, Workflow) is required.
Experience with Toad, Sql*Plus, and UNIX is required.
Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a high paced environment is preferred.
Experience with Visual Studio GIT/ADO and Flex Deploy tools are preferred but not required.
Willingness to work toward and achieve management directed goals and objectives.
Possesses a customer-focused and team-oriented attitude.
Effectively demonstrates verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to troubleshooting and identify appropriate recommendations/solutions.
Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel up to 10% is preferred.
