Job Description

A growing manufacturing company specializing in precision-engineered machine bases for vibration-sensitive semiconductor production equipment is seeking a skilled Quality Control Specialist to join its production team. This organization is recognized for delivering high-performance manufacturing solutions and maintaining exceptional quality standards across complex fabrication processes.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Tualatin. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented quality professional with experience inspecting manufactured components, interpreting technical drawings, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect fabricated components and finished assemblies throughout various stages of production to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and CAD drawings
  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools including calipers, gauges, and tape measures
  • Conduct alignments and inspections utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment and software
  • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and controlled documentation
  • Identify, tag, and document non-conforming materials or products while assisting in corrective and preventive actions
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Inspection role within manufacturing
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and basic GD&T symbols
  • Previous experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Pay: $27-30/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
