Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 12 Months Contract (Potential Extension)
Schedule: Hybrid Role (4-Days Onsite per week)
Job Description:
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing large-scale enterprise IT or business transformation projects
- 8+ years of experience utilizing project management methodologies including PMI/PMBOK, Agile, or Hybrid approaches
- 8+ years of experience developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional business and technical stakeholders
- 8+ years of experience with:
- Risk Management
- Issue Management
- Change Control
- Executive Reporting
- 8+ years of experience using project management tools such as:
- Microsoft Project
- Smartsheet
- Jira
- Similar enterprise project management tools
- Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
- Experience working within public sector or state government organizations
- Experience supporting enterprise procurement or contract management initiatives
- Experience leading enterprise application implementations or modernization projects
- Experience working under state procurement frameworks (DIR, FAST, or similar)
