Role Overview
Maitsys is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure initiatives, including cloud migrations and data center relocations. This role requires hands-on project leadership, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical teams in a hybrid work environment.
The ideal candidate has successfully delivered infrastructure transformation projects and is comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including:
Cloud migration initiatives (Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments)
Data center moves, consolidations, and decommissioning
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
Coordinate with infrastructure, network, security, application, and vendor teams
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams and ensure on-time delivery
Oversee change management, cutover planning, and post-migration stabilization
Track milestones, KPIs, and deliverables; provide regular status reporting to leadership
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and blockers proactively
Ensure projects follow best practices for security, compliance, and governance
Support pre-sales activities as needed, including project scoping and estimation

Mandatory Qualifications

8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management
Proven experience leading Cloud Migration projects (Azure, AWS, or hybrid)
Hands-on experience managing Data Center Moves (physical or virtual)

Strong understanding of:

Servers, storage, networking, virtualization
Cloud infrastructure and migration frameworks
Experience managing third-party vendors and system integrators
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a hybrid model from the Boston, MA area

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, VMware, and modern infrastructure tools
Exposure to security, identity, and compliance considerations during migrations
Experience working in consulting or professional services environments
Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models
