Position - Java Developer

Location - Chicago, IL

Employment Type - W2

Required Experience

  • Experience: Senior-level experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications, preferably in the Payments domain.
  • Frontend: Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Backend: Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful API development.
  • API Security & Integration: Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, API versioning, rate limiting, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
  • Databases & Messaging: Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and event-driven architecture.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
  • Testing & Observability: Experience with JUnit, Test-Driven Development (TDD), SonarQube, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
  • Technical Leadership: Strong ownership of production applications, performance optimization, code reviews, Agile collaboration, mentoring, and cross-functional communication.
