Title Technical Project Manager (DevOps)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in DevOps, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and CI/CD initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage endtoend delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams while driving automation, quality, and delivery speed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage DevOps and CI/CD transformation projects from initiation to closure
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects across the entire SDLC (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid)
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including Development, QA, Security, Cloud, and Operations
  • Own project schedules, scope, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment best practices
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning
  • Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and security standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, blockers, and delivery issues proactively
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Continuously improve delivery processes through metrics (velocity, lead time, deployment frequency, MTTR)

Required Skills & Experience

Project & Process

  • Strong understanding of SDLC models (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Waterfall)
  • Handson experience managing CI/CDcentric projects
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.)
  • Solid risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder management skills

DevOps & Technical Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of DevOps practices and culture
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation preferred)
  • Awareness of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch preferred)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe, or DevOps certifications preferred

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and fastpaced environments
  • Decisionmaking and conflictresolution abilities
  • Teamoriented mindset with leadership presence

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing enterprisescale DevOps transformations
  • Exposure to security and compliance (DevSecOps)
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
