OpenShift GitOps Developer

Job Description:

• Provide general best practices and guidance related to implementation of ArgoCD and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Design the foundational repository structure based on Ethos for managing OCP configurations using OpenShift GitOps (Argo CD) - including cluster-admin level configurations
• Design and implement the deployment strategy for Argo CD, and develop the lifecycle management for updates and patching of Argo CD.
• Integrate existing or new Git organizations and repositories for use with OpenShift GitOps / Argo CD.
• Implement the necessary structure to achieve the proper hierarchy for reusable templates v.s. Input parameters and configuration values.
• Design the proper access credentials to allow Argo CD integrations with the Git repositories hosting git content managed through GitOps.
• Set up the proper management of tokens and service accounts, adhering to the Adobe security standards where applicable.
• Integrate with artifact management repositories so Argo CD can consume content for deployment in OpenShift.
• This should support a release strategy and optionally allow pipelines to manage content version updates.
• Assist with the development of custom OpenShift Operators as needed.
