1. 12+ years’ experience in total but with 7+ years of experience in search engineering.
2. This role requires a very specific background in search engineering. Can you walk me through the search architectures you have built or led? Specifically, what technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr, OpenSearch) have you used to handle high-volume query loads?
3. A key requirement for this position is experience with heavy equipment engineering or industrial data. How have you handled the complexities of technical catalogs or specialized industrial data in your previous software development work?
4. We are looking for someone who has built low-latency APIs in AWS. Can you describe a project where you implemented in-memory storage solutions (like Redis or ElastiCache) to optimize search response times?
5. This is a Lead role requiring at least 3 years of technical leadership. Can you describe your leadership style when mentoring a global team of engineers? How do you handle technical disagreements during code or architecture reviews?
