Senior Applications Analyst / Oracle Cloud ERP Financials and Procurement
Location- Alpharetta, GA/ Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a Senior Applications Analyst for a 12+ month contract. This is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days per week onsite at one of our offices in Alpharetta, GA or Oakland, CA.
Role Overview:
The Senior Applications Analyst is responsible for applying industry standards in the planning, organizing, and execution of Business Needs Assessments for the development and enhancement of enterprise application capabilities. This role supports and optimizes Oracle Cloud ERP applications, including Financials and Procurement solutions. You will partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate financial, accounting, and operational requirements into effective system designs and configurations.
Key Responsibilities:
Work independently and provide thought leadership in defining project vision, scope, risks, and stakeholder alignment for Oracle Cloud ERP initiatives.
Lead the planning and development of comprehensive functional documentation, including Business Requirements, Functional and Technical Design Documents, Use Cases, and Process Models.
Independently gather, analyze, and validate complex business and accounting requirements.
Perform advanced dependency analysis, functional and workflow design, use case modeling, and end-to-end process analysis.
Partner with technical and integration teams to support and validate data flows across Oracle Cloud ERP modules, including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
Act as a senior contributor within the testing discipline, defining test strategy, test planning, data validation approaches, and UAT.
Provide senior-level support throughout the project lifecycle, including issue resolution and break/fix support.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience with Oracle Cloud ERP products.
Experience performing business and functional analysis in complex Oracle Cloud ERP environments.
Deep understanding of general accounting and auditing principles.
Good understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related concepts.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries with a deep technical understanding of underlying tables and schemas.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Kanban, Sprints).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
