Summary

Role: Patient Benefits Analyst 

Location: Jackson, MS– Hybrid

 

Position Description:

Provide support to Revenue Cycle through the following:

  • Review coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments to determine patient responsibility
  • Document coverage appropriately in Epic
  • Identify trends in coverage and point of service patient responsibilty collections for each of the 88 clinic locations
  • Recommend process changes that would optimize collection of patient responsibility related revenue and third party payments
  • Communicate with clinical and operations leadership related to coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and revenue cycle related topics

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Epic PB experience, certification preferred
  • RHIA/RHIT/CPC certified required
  • revenue cycle reporting (7+ years), build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training
  • clearinghouse
  • Third party coverage discovery
  • RTE interpretation

 

Preferred:

  • Public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, RHC revenue cycle experience
