Senior Software Engineer (Python/AWS)
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build scalable cloud-based applications, data pipelines, and APIs that power critical financial data solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while developing secure, high-performance software using modern engineering practices.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting cloud-native applications and services, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend development, cloud technologies, and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Translate business and technical requirements into efficient, reliable software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern software engineering best practices.
• Build and enhance RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and enterprise development standards.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve development processes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming experience with Python and/or Go.
• Hands-on experience developing applications on AWS.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern DevOps practices.
•    Strong understanding of software design principles, application performance, and scalable system architecture.
•    Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
