Description:
Diversified Systems is searching for a CI/CD Administrator responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure. This role will drive automation initiatives, improve software release frequency, and ensure the reliability and scalability of applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of DevOps principles and extensive experience with industry-leading CI/CD tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Administer and maintain Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence to support development workflows and collaboration.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to streamline software build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to improve software delivery processes.
- Implement and enforce security best practices within the CI/CD environment.
- Stay up to date with emerging CI/CD technologies and best practices.
- Document CI/CD processes and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years of experience in CI/CD administration or DevOps engineering required.
- Proven experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and XebiaLabs required.
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence administration required.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, or PowerShell required.
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles required.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
Highly Desired Skills:- Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform highly desired.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes highly desired.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks highly desired.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Jenkins Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert highly desired.
- Experience working in a government or regulated environment highly desired.
