Summary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Business Analyst to join our Axiom Regulatory Reporting practice. In this client-facing role, you will partner directly with financial institutions to design, implement, and optimize regulatory reporting solutions on the Axiom platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex data and reporting requirements while ensuring alignment with U.S. regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

This is an ideal opportunity for a regulatory reporting professional who thrives at the intersection of business, data, and technology, and who enjoys solving complex problems for sophisticated banking and broker-dealer clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to gather, analyze, and document data and reporting requirements for regulatory submissions.

  • Translate complex regulatory rules into clear functional specifications and configuration approaches within the Axiom platform.

  • Advise clients on industry best practices, implementation strategies, and process improvements across their regulatory reporting operations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on U.S. regulatory frameworks, interpreting rules and guidance from the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, SEC, and FINRA.

  • Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and variance analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.

  • Support user acceptance testing, production parallel runs, and go-live activities.

  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, methodology development, and teaming up with senior SMEs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within banking, broker-dealer, or financial services - ideally in a business analyst, consulting, or reporting operations capacity.

  • Strong business foundation with a solid understanding of financial products, balance sheet composition, and accounting concepts.

  • Technology-literate: comfortable working with large datasets, reading SQL, understanding data models, and collaborating with technical teams (deep coding expertise not required).

  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to interpret regulatory instructions and translate them into practical reporting solutions.

Regulatory Experience (One or More Required; Multiple Preferred)

Hands-on experience with one or more of the following U.S. regulatory reporting areas:

  • Regulatory Capital (Basel III / Basel 3EG, RWA calculations, FFIEC 101)

  • U.S. Liquidity Reporting (LCR, NSFR, FR 2052a)

  • Broker-Dealer Reporting and Calculations (Net Capital / Rule 15c3-1, Customer Reserve / Rule 15c3-3, FOCUS reports)

  • Bank Holding Company and Call Reports - FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031/041, and related schedules

  • CCAR / DFAST stress testing and related submissions (FR Y-14A/Q/M)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on experience with the Axiom (Adenza / Nasdaq) Controller View regulatory reporting platform.

  • Experience at a top-tier bank, broker-dealer, consulting firm, or regulatory technology vendor.

  • Familiarity with data governance, controls frameworks, and reporting automation initiatives.

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications (CPA, CFA, FRM) a plus.
