AWS/Java/ETL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose application modernization strategies.
• Design, develop, and test Java-based cloud-native applications and backend systems.
• Build, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines for data processing and integration.
• Utilize AWS services to design scalable enterprise data solutions, including data lakes.
• Analyze data models and business requirements to ensure accurate implementation.
• Perform data validation by querying databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Design, create, and execute test cases for backend and data processing validation.
• Conduct back-end testing to validate logic and data workflows.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security and coding best practices.
• Monitor application performance and optimize for cost, reliability, and scalability.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS services and building enterprise-level data lakes.
• Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong understanding of database relationships, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, preferably cloud-based solutions.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or AWS QuickSight.
• Exposure to advanced data engineering and cloud-native architectures.
