Application Developer (Remote)

Looking for a senior applications developer responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex web-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Working with the project team to analyze and interpret user requirements and propose solutions.
• Leading the development effort.
• Experience with HTML and style sheets as it relates to accessibility functionality and compliance.
• Designing and programming user interface, business layer, database layer, and reporting components to meet user requirements.
• Proposing database designs for approval by the database administrators.
• Assisting with data migration from existing databases.
• Programming using Microsoft VB.Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, XML, SQL Server Reporting Services, and SQL Server database.
• Using the Visual Studio development platform.
• Following various established coding and database standards.
• Using Azure DevOps for source code control, manage work items, manage testing activities, and documentation versioning.
• Estimating time required for development to fulfill requirements.
• Reporting status of work to the project manager.
• Conducting adequate unit and regression testing for all developed code and resolving any bugs.
• Presenting complex technical constructs to non-technical users.
• Documenting, mentoring, and providing knowledge transfer to IT staff as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
